TNA Releases Jim Cornette

TNA recently released Jim Cornette. Cornette was an agent as television. This move, looks to be another move in removing everyone who is close to Jeff Jarrett.

If you don’t know, Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle have butted heads in a big way in TNA. As a result Jeff Jarrett was removed as Vice President of TNA Entertainment, or at least the lessening of his influence within the company. Jeff and his father, Jerry Jarrett founded TNA back in May of 2002.

Also, there’s been a big push from the head of TNA Dixie Carter for a change in direction after relying on the guys from the 1980s has not lead to a significant increase in TV ratings (though TV has been much better in recent weeks).
