-John Cena and WWE each got a Mashable Award for the best of the web on 1/6 at a ceremony at the New York New York Hotel. “Stand Up for WWE” was given the award as “Most Creative Social Media Campaign.”. Congrats and Thank yous are in order to the WWE Universe for their participation in this great campaign!

- Triple H has a starring role in a new movie! “The Chaperone,” a movie starring HHH, will get a theatrical release the weekend of 2/18 to 2/20, and then be released on DVD on 3/8.

-The WWE Tough Enough cast is scheduled to be brought to Atlanta for WrestleMania and introduced either at Mania or Raw the next night to hype the show. For those who don’t know, the show WWE Tough Enough will give those who wish to become a wrestler the opportunity to train with WWE Superstars and make their dreams come true. Unlike WWE NXT, where the wrestlers already have some sort of experience, many of the Tough Enough contestants may not have as much experience and need the before-they-get-in-the-ring training.

- Expect to see more of Jerry “The King” Lawler in the spotlight. After 41 years of wrestling and being 61 years old, Lawler can move as well as anyone. Here’s a great look at a special Kings Court – this was filmed for Memphis! Notice at the 3:00 mark – Mr. McMahon slips into evil McMahon while Lawler slips into his hero from the Memphis character….they switch back at about 6:00…..
